The CEO of Scepter Publishers from 1989 to 2012, John Powers has continued in both editorial and sales roles at Scepter since 2013. Inspired by the teachings of St. Josemaria Escrivá, Scepter’s mission focuses on helping individuals achieve sanctity through their work, family life, and daily activities. His event will examine the various influences that seem to be propelling this growth of Catholic conversions: both historical and cultural, not only in the US, but in other English-speaking countries, France and elsewhere. John is a former journalist who has been studying the historical evidence of Catholic conversion to determine the main threads of its development.
