DETAILS
Noelle Mering offers an alternative framework to contemporary progressive social movements rooted in authentic interpersonal relationships and the fundamental human needs to live truthfully and to be known and loved. While acknowledging genuine injustices exist, she contends that woke ideology's approach often worsens rather than resolves these problems, and that restoration begins with understanding the movement's operating principles and returning to Christian foundations. Mering is a Fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center where she co-directs the Theology of Home Project. She is an editor for Theology of Home, and co-author of the Theology of Home book series. She studied philosophy and theatre at Westmont College in California and received her MA in philosophy from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. Noelle and her husband live in Southern California with their six children.
